When they said she was aggressive , maybe they meant only towards other animals. I have had a few ferrets that were that way, loved people, no other ferrets. Now, one was deaf and it was just a tougher integration. It took me a few months. You can probably get them together with a lot of time and work. However, some ferrets just don't care for other ferret company.

To start, cage them close to each other and swap out the hammocks
back and forth, then bathe them and introduce them in a neutral room ( one that is not mischief's territory). Trying feeding them a treat together, like licking ferretone off the bottle at the same time.
If the attacking is not horrible, no blood draw, and the one ferret is not being terrorized ( not hiding and shaking ) but engaging in a fight, you can let them fight until one establishes dominance, provide space for retreat/ a place for the underdog to run and hide- like a box with one opening, or an open carrier where the one can retreat and protect the entrance against the other ferret.

Sometimes they will fight it out, and then get over it and if you keep separating them they never figure it out. Now, that doesn't mean let them fight until one is hurt, but you can monitor it. once in a while they just never get over it and like being a single ferret.

Good luck,
Patty K

ps. One thing that can cause aggressiveness is adrenal gland disease, although I doubt it is this, just check for any signs of fur loss of swollen vulva on her.

Well heres my concerns they had told me that she doesn't get along with other animals at all. Well my black labrador she doesn't attack him or anything unless he is trying to play with her like he does with mischief so now he won't even bother her anymore but heres my biggest concerns she keeps attacking mischief so I have to keep them seperated and mischief doesn't like that AT ALL cuz she is so used to being out to run all the time and now I have to put her in the cage in order for Reggie to be out for her play time. I'm not sure what to do but Mishcief seems like shes going into depression but not too bad cuz at first she hid for 3days didn't even come out to eat. then finally she came out and I gave her all the attention to let her know that I didn't forget about her so now she's starting to be back to her normal self but she wants to get to know Reggie but Reggie won't let her near otherwise she attacks her. Is there any possible way to get them to get along with out fighting?? Reggie is 2yrs old and Mischief just turned 1 in April. and I've had her since she was 4 months old. Any advice or ideas are greatly appreciated.

thanks,
tracy
