One important point: if fed just on meat all sorts of nutritional deficiencies occur. That is why other animal parts are in the diet of wild animals: stomach and intestines and some of their contents, mineral rich oragans like the liver and kidneys, cartilage, skin, etc. They provide other nutrients.
