My baby girl is/was tiny. I started feeding her 1/3 a jar of gerber turkey (chicken?) and gravy baby food each night and she's growing pretty good now. Even in the past couple of weeks I can tell a difference.

Asking questions is a good thing. Before you start trying to make your ferret grow, ask the vet if there is reason for concern. If he's ok size for his age, supplementing could make him fat. (If his poop is runny or really soft - a sign that he is not absorbing nis food very well, ferretvite or other high calorie "medical" supplements can give him diarrhea and make things worse.)

With the distemper shot, put a little bit of sugar in a water bottle (with water of course) and let him drink from that. It will keep him from getting the insulin fluctuation usually associated with distemper vaccination problems. My vet, a long time ferret owner, has always done it with his own and never had a single vaccination complication.
