My ferret gertrude is about 9 months old. Since she was about 4 months old she starting getting a horrible cough. I took her to my vet and gerty was given some meds. It got a bit better but never went away. Now she is starting to cough more often, actually is more like a hacking. Ive given her some laxatone but only very little. Should i be worried or is this some what normal? The vet didnt really seem to concerned about it and i dont want to run her back and forth to the vet over nothing. Any advice?
