I personally had a ferret whose insulinoma was caused by his
lymphoma--it was long enough ago that I can't remember
exactly how that worked, apart from the lymphoma cells being
in his pancreas, but the two can come as a package deal.
Treatment with pediapred was exactly the same as it would
have been if it were just regular insulinoma, and of course
the pediapred may have had the added benefit of slowing down
the lymphoma. Ultimately his entire system failed before
the insulinoma became severe, but he did get a year and a
few months after his diagnosis and lived to be 8 or so.

I just pass this along as an illustration that lymphoma and
insulinoma are not mutually exclusive and you could be
looking at a combination of the two.

good luck,
