I have a question regarding my ferret's teeth. I just adopted 3 ferrets about 2 weeks ago. One of the boys has an underbite- his bottom teeth overlap the top teeth. His 2 canines just rather slightly are leaving marks in his skin where they touch. He has an appt next week to see the dr, but I'm just wondering if there is much they can do for this besides surgery? (hehe, he would look just so cute in braces!) I dont know if they'd be able to 'file' down the teeth? He eats fine, plays fine, so they dont seem to be bothering him... but I'm guessing they must be somewhat uncomfortable as they are leaving marks in his skin. Anyone else ever come across this?
Thanks,
Andrea
