Yes, Beasley had one lower canine that was at a bit of an angle and a small pocket had formed inside his upper lip where it rested. I asked my vet about it and he suggested leaving it alone. We did and it never seemed to bother him in all the years he was with us.

I've heard of others that had ferrets with this condition and also did nothing like pull or file the teeth. They seem to do just fine.
