I had a shelter ferret (estimated age 5-6) that came in with a boney
tumor the size of half a ping pong ball on the back of his head. The
vet that saw him said the prognosis depended on how fast growing it
was.

Unfortunately, it was fast, and within a couple months it had nearly
doubled in size. The poor sweet boy had to be euthanized. He was in
obvious pain and suffering neurological symptoms.

I hope for a better prognosis for your little one.
