Hi Gang,
Well I have been reading your all emails and dicideing on rather to have =
surgey done on my little Airess, shes only 3 years old and in April she was=
sick all she did was sleep and drink water that was it .. I took her to th=
e vet every 2 to 3 weeks and each time her blood sugar was any where from 4=
5 to 50 but about a couple weeks ago itwas 80 and we all was so happy it wa=
s up and that we found the right doseage of pred to give her but just yeste=
rday i took her in for her recheck on her sugar blood again and it was down=
to 34 that relly upset me my vet dr told me it was time that she needed t=
he surgey cause themeds wasnt just helping her at all. she was on prednsone=
60 milagrams 2 times a day so she goes in monday for her surgey. but my ot=
her Little girl Robin shes 7 years old and she has insulinoma as well and h=
as had it sence christmas and is on the same meds as Airess and shes doing =
great. i dont understand why my Airess is alot younger then robin and hses =
the one thats sicker the drs been so wonderful in trying to make her better=
, now my little man Obie wish is also my vet drs ferret he has Lymphoma and=
hes doing good so far with the meds hes on and I foster him for my vet drs =
and ive had him for a year now and he s had it 2 years now ya hes bottemd o=
ut a couple time and was put in the hospital and he would pull thru it with=
flying colors hes a fighter with his illness. ive almost lost him a couple=
times buthe amzeses me how he pulls thru his sickness. they are the only 3=
ferrets i have with these problems out of 8 other sweeties i have im so sc=
ared of my Maxwell he always has slimy green poo poo but so far the drs can=
t find anything wrong with him thru the testings they took of him. he acts =
the same as ive had 8 years ago and hes going strong only his poo poo scare=
s me.. then my Faroke hes 3 years old and hes got andreal drinage gland pr=
oblem and is due for surgey soon him self but the drs say Airess surgey is =
more inportane to have done now..im sorry this is long i just needed to ven=
t alittle . keep my babys in your prayers.. Susie and her crew of 10....
