Ask your vet if he can prescibe some nonsteroidal antiinflammatories for
pain for your guy. If he thinks surgery is too dangerous then he might at
least be willing to Rx something for pain. I would feel better using
something other then over the counter poducts because all can cause
problems. The 2 I use most often are Rimadyl and Metacam. If he can't find
or doesn't have dosing let me knwo I eill get them for you. He sounds
painful and does need something. This will then give you a chance to
investigate your other choices. Don't know of resources but check with the
ophthlmologists at one of the vet schools they should be able to help you
help the vets in your area. Good Luck.
