If you do a non fasting glucose and it is below 70 that is enough because
they need to keep their sugar higher when they have food coming in and even
if 70 is considered normal it is not with a non fasting test. The behavior
signs, genearlly some insulinomics only have lethargy. I sometimes match
numbers with how the ferret is acting, your guy is tired and lethatgic, if
you start Pred and he becomes more active that is enough for me to say this
is insulinoma. Each case is individual and there is no point in waiting for
the worst possible signs. Hope this clears things up.
