I suspect that the vet will look at assorted possible causes of seizures and likley into possible causes of intermittent pain which might bring a ferret to a halt, but keep in mind that it is also possible that the ferret is just stopping to consider some new options. We've had a few who tended to do this, one of whom would sometimes have THAT look cross her face so we'd have to follow because something forbidden or overly adventurous was about to be tried then.
