The new fur growth can look bluish as it starts to come in.
When my ferret bleed from low platelets- he had small bruising all over the body, on
his gums, and blood in the urine. You can also look for other signs of bleeding, like
stool, urine or gums.
Hopefully it is the new hair growing in.

My Harley had emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage on 6/30. A few days
ago I noticed the edges of the incision scar were pale blue, as if slightly bruised.
This evening I noticed most of his belly is now pale blue.
