As far as I'm aware, there's still suspicion of a viral trigger, but
little progress has been made in identifying one, or other possible
causes. At least, no such progress has been made public yet.
My vet stays pretty current on papers published on VIN, and I grill
her about this topic constantly, having myself lost three to various
presentations of lymphosarcoma in as many years. (Our very first loss
was due to juvenile LSA - not a great place to start.)
I'm sorry to hear about Adric.
