Hi DLevenson,
I have a couple of questions for you.
What dose of melatonin and when are they giving it,
and what dose (and version) of Lupron are you using?
Is this a male or female ferret? What clinical signs/problems
is this ferret having? The melatonin implants have done a good
a job in reducing 17-OHP levels (in my ferrets that I have been able
to do hormone levels on).
Can you palpate or measure the enlarged adrenal gland by ultrasound?
Some of the large carcinomas are just not going to respond to medical
treatment.
Propecia or Casodex can be used to help with prostatic problems.
Arimidex (but not Nolvadex) can be used for estrogen induced anemia.
Hope that helps some and lets see if it is time to increase the
amount of Lupron and melatonin for this ferret.
