I don't know the effect that dose of Proscar would have, but I seem to recall that Dr. Murray recommends 1 mg daily for one month then 0.1 mg daily thereafter for maintenance. You could save quite a bit of money, not to mention not overdosing them on Proscar if this protocol works for them. Might be worth a try.
