Hi, Sukie, Roger, and everyone else,
I got a call from our vet. He actually sent Adric's
biopsy samples two different places for analysis. The
second report showed undifferentiated cells with some
lymphocytes and mitotic elements. It indicated a very
aggressive sarcoma, possibly lymphosarcoma. Our vet
said that an undifferentiated sarcoma is one growing
extremely fast. Poor Adric didn't have a chance.
Our vet is not at all certain that it was
lymphosarcoma, but that still is his best guess based
on both reports.
Oh, and I do subscribe to Ferrets. I might have
skipped that article, which would be unusual for
anything with Dr. Williams' byline. I'll look back
through my recent issues.
All the best,
Caity and the fantastic five
