No, Ivomec a few months ago did not cause meningitis now.
Rarely ivermectin can cause some ataxia and neurological
signs. When that happens it is usually that day or the next
day- but not months later. Ear mites can cause middle ear
and even inner ear infections. These can cause head tilts and
neuroloigical signs (torticollis, Horner's syndrome and even tremors
and seizures) also. Maybe your ferret had an inner ear infection as a
result of the ear mite problem instead of from the ear mite treatment.
