Thanks for all the advice but my 8 yr old female Mokey was put down a few
hrs ago.

I came home late afternoon to take her to the vet for bloodwork and possible
different meds than Predisone, since she wasn't responding to that anymore.

The doctor had increased the predisone to .2 ml the other day but no
response. This morning she didn't want to open her mouth for feeding but
this afternoon, she was non responsive. Didn't even open her eyes. Her
breathing seemed loud. At the vet office, she opened her eyes to have bowel
movement and for the first time she made a sound like in pain. I also
thought something was wrong with her neck.

He said her ?thyroid was ?bigger, her neck was bigger. He was going to ask
around to find out why because he couldn't understand why this would happen.
Does anyone have any thoughts on why?

This is the vet's first bilaterl adrenal and know that he has learned from
trying to treat her. He's performed lots of adrenal surgery but Mokey was
the first that he had to go back in.

So now my 1st and 2nd ferret have passed. Have two more. If this happens
again, this time I know to act earlier and more aggressively.

Thanks again
