I am glad that I went there and read myself, too, even though heartworms are rare in this area. It seems that Proheart has been very successful for her for treating for adult worms, which she postulates may be at least partly because the worms are stunted in ferrets. The safe success rate she got with it is a large improvement over previous approaches for existing adult heartworms.
