Subject: New ferret is a biter...HELP

Fort Dodge has a current recall on a number of their products not just
Proheart. Uncertain as to what the recall is about.
The reactions reported are like reactions to other things too. Think about
it this way, do and can vaccine reations do the same things? Yes. The drug
has not been around long enough for us to know what is real and what is not.
I do not use it as a preventative yet because I would rather it be around
for awhile and know its safety before using it.
I would assume a ferret could react too, but it is not as commonly used in
ferrets and Sukie is Right in that it is a much safer choice as a treatment
for adult infestations in ferrets then anything else there is.
Keep it in your mind and allow your vet and yourselves to be educated and
make decisions based on current data.
Hope this helps.

Hi everyone. If you don't know yet, ferret math hit again. I got a six
month old girl named Affinity last week. I have three others, one who used to
nip, but is much better. I knew this one was a nipper when I got her, but it
isn't nipping. It is biting and drawing blood, my blood to be exact. She is
great with the other ferrets. I have read everything I can. I have bitter
apple, bitter lime, scruffed, put in time out etc. PLEASE give me some
advise. I really need to get a handle on this. I am very loving towards her,
show her my hand and talk to her before I pick her up, and say her name before I
pick her up. What do I need to do? Any and all suggestions will be
GREATLY appreciated!
Thanks Ya'll!
