Dear Dr. Williams,

There is no abnormal sign on his head. He is a very cute and quiet ferret.
He holds his head lop-sided. Sometimes he staggers when walking. I think
he feels pain in his ear. This bad thing must be exactly in his ear. Newma=
n
is very thin, he doesn=B4t want to eat anything.
There comes a lot of festering secret out of his ear every day.
My vet gives him an antibiotic named "Baytril" and Prednisolon 0,4ml (5%)
for 10 days. Today is the 6th day he gets those medicaments.

Newman is not my own ferret, I=B4m his nurse. He was found half a year ag=
o
and was brought to an animal-shelter. I=B4m a ferret-shelter, and they brou=
ght
Newman to me on 21st of July .
Newman is 2 years old, and he was full of ticks. =
I think newman is an inbreeding-ferret. On the last picture you can see his=
toe, there are two additional toes on one toe.

He is so sweet and lovely, I want to help him. I can=B4t stand seeing h=
im
feeling pain, and it is difficult to feed him, because he doesn=B4t want t=
o
eat.
=
If there is any chance to help him, I will do it, but if there is no
chance, I will stop his suffering.
=
I live in Europe, exactly in the capital of Austria, Vienna. Here are no
vets who know the clinical pictures and the anatomic of ferrets very well.=
I need help to help my little poor ferret Newman.
=
I hope, someone can help me to make a decision for Newman.
=
Best regards Petra!
