(A study on wound healing, but do remember that some ferrets are not
good companions for healing and may remove stitches, so don't assume
for any individual.)
The adrenal mention is interesting, too.
(BTW, with ferrets who have had both adrenals removed, or have one
suppressed and the other removed remember to always be prepared ahead
of time for a possible Addisons problem.)
