I have a 5.5 year old male, he is a black-eyed white and he is neutered. He is very active and shows no signs of aggressive behaviour (sexually or otherwise). The hair on his tail and rump is thick and healthy looking. The hair on his underside is not.
he had surgery in May for an intestinal blockage and they shaved the lower portion of his belly. the hair started to grow back, but very slowly (my other ferret had a partial pancreactomy about a month earlier and his hair has long since grown back). Also, I have noticed the hair further up on his underside (all the way to the neck) is thinning noticably. Doe this sound like adenal disease? any other ideas that I could investigate?
Thanks
