Thank you all so much for your reassuring words and excellent
tips! Surgery is on August 10th, and we are doing our very best to have
everything ready for when Fria comes home. We'll be making some of Bob's
Chicken Gravy for her (providing the blender survives long enough to grind
the chicken). We are also practicing hand feeding her from a feeding
syringe to avoid as much trouble after surgery as possible, using chicken
baby food mixed with some Ferret-vite until Bob's Chicken Gravy is made (we
just got fat trimmings from a butcher shop today).
Please keep Fria in your thoughts on the 10th.
