I was thinking about looking up the ingedients in my herbal references which give counter-indications, med conflicts, risk factors, etc.: Then my brain kicked in a little and I recalled that while that may be useful there are many ways in which the responses of ferrets and humans differ, so that some dangers for us are not dangers for them and some thing we can safely take are dangerous for them.

Given this situation I think it would be worth arranging to have the ASPCA's poison experts check into the ingredients for you. I can't think of another compact way to get access to that level of targetted expertise so it seems like a useful consultation to purchase.
