I heard Dr. Murray talk about the implants at the Ferret Symposium in Atlanta. My paco had just died one month earlier, due to unrelated complications from him adrenal surgery. I talked to my vet (who was also there) and told her I wanted all of mine done -- only Trixie was showing signs again less than a year after her first surgery and she was only 2 yrs. old. I decided to get all of mine implanted. All look great!!! This past Spring I have two new fuzzies, one about a year, and the other at 6 months. All 7 fuzzy got their implants -- as a preventative. No outward signs of any side effects. Fuzzy coats are beatiful (even Trixie's is back to better than normal), and energy and bodies look great -- not small fuzzies! Of course, I do feed them a nightly snack of Chicken Gravy (with 50% turkey).
If you have any other questions, email me privately, and I will gladly answer your questions.
