My ferret zippy has a cough, rather it sounds like hacking to me. He also has a kind of snore/wheeze sound when he spleeps. My vet x-rayed his lungs and they were clear, but he had swollen lymphnodes. The vet sent us home with powdered antibiotics mixed with kool-aid. the lymphnodes and normal now but he is still coughing and wheezing could he have allergies?
