Lung congestion can also be from heart issues. Was there a fever or a high white
blood cell count too? Or one part of the lung with consolidation or everywhere just
congested ?
Was he breathing heavy, or is he now, any nasal congestion or discharge, any
cough?
The ferret's age and health status would help too.
I would try to get as much good food in him as you can,not so sure the ensure
alone. If you can, get a jar of Gerber's second stage lamb or chicken baby food.
Warm a little in the microwave and finger feed, it takes a few tries before he may
accept it willingly. THen a jar a day is great if he is not eating anything else.
