As far as I know FIV, Feline Leukemia and FIP are not transmittable to ferrets, or
dogs for that matter.

I did find this from one website
http://www.radil.missouri.edu/RADILinfo/dora/ferrpage/viral.htm
VI. Other Viral Diseases

Feline leukemia virus (FeLV) does not appear to produce clinical disease in ferrets,
however some practitioners have reported positive results to FeLV tests. Ferrets are
not susceptible to mink virus enteritis. Ferrets display no clinical disease from
feline panleukopenia virus (parvovirus) infection although virus may be briefly shed
after exposure. Vaccination with multivalent products is not recommended (to
prevent overstimulation of the immune system). "

It uses Fox's book as a reference, so that may be where the quote comes from.

Of course you asked what they can get from cats, and I think that would be stuff like
rabies if bit by a rabid cat, fleas, mites, ring worm, mange, intestinal worms if the
ferret played in the litter box the cat with the worms used and ingested the larvae....
so, what I did for my new cat- I had him vet checked, vaccinated, and a good exam
for worms, skin problems, mites, etc. Since was a kitten got dewormed and ended up
having coccidia, which was treated and cleared before introductions.

Then once all clear, and I see the cat is healthy, using litter box and eating fine I
introduced them.
