I asked around yesterday about this and my fiance said that the symptoms sound
exactly like arsenic (sp?) poisoning, like rat poison.
Maybe this is far-fetched, but could someone have accidentally walked through
some of this stuff somewhere outside the home and tracked it in? If it's on the
shoes it can get on other stuff, which can get on ferret, cat or dog paws, and anyone
who handles the animals can get it on their hands... and so on. ??
