Yes, it could be his ears, but don't discount the possibility that these might be blood sugar related or might be episodes of syncope related to his heart disease. We've seen similar in one years ago who had dilative cardiomyopathy with ventricular bigemini. It's a hard call on one who is edlerly (9 years) with several medical problems at the same time.
