He's taking it, but he began that drug the same day we started him on the "chicken
gravy" recipe, sans bones and eggshells. He's been grinding his teeth more since
we've started the gravy and carafate, but I'm not sure what to think about that.

The vet said nothing about refilling his antibiotics, and I'm a little perterbed that we
seem to be having to extract information from this clinic rather than them telling us
what to expect and what course to take after he's done with this round of meds.
Sad really, considering every animal clinic I called in the area when we moved her
said this doc was "THE" ferret doc for the area. Only two clinics locally even treat
ferrets.

The carafate (sucralfate)will help with the ulcer by coating it and helping with the
discomfort of eating and will protect the ulcer to help it heal faster, if your vet does
not have it most drug stores carry it( it is used for humans aka "sucralfate")
Clavamox could be enough for Boo Boo, but I believe it could take a while to heal, a
lengthy round of it might be necessary.
