I wont quote anything directly that I read online, but the symptoms fit pretty well
that of cyanide poisoning (possibly rat poison). I called the poison control out of
curiosity and they told me that the symptoms described sounded like an
anticoagulent (like rat poisoning). Cyanide poisoning can cause a brick red color to
the skin as well.
