Hi,
I already own the latest edition of Ferrets, rabbits and rodents by Quesenberry; but I
am very interested in Dr. Purcell's book. Does anyone know where to purchase it
and if there will be a new version of it?
Also Biology and Diseases of the Ferret (Fox), will there be a new edition from this
anytime soon? Since it's already from 1998 and lots of things have changed in the
mean time...

[Moderator's Note: Dr. Purcell is invovled in writing a new text with another
excellent ferret vet expert; I won't say who for now. AAHA Press has been selling
out the last of the text she wrote for them. You can find how to get it and other
texts by searching in

I have no idea when Dr. Fox may plan on a new text but you could always send him
a note at the Division of Comparative Medicine in MIT and ask.|
