Hi Ardith-

Absolutely- the blankets etc can be come carriers etc so a wash in hot
water & bleach is recommended -- or by adding a parvocidal cleaner to the
wash! Your vet can recommend a good parvocidal cleaner- andy rescue
environment should have it on hand and instructions for storing it &
handling it.

The litterboxes & floors here , at the time of the coccidia outbreak were
cleaned daily with a bleach & water solution -- though some claimed that
would not be enough, it was for us..( not much sleep for the caretakers
though!) I believe the dilution at that time was 2-3 oz chlorox to 20 oz water.

With our coccidia outbreak there were NO signs of blood in the stools they
were bright green and mustard yellow with a horrific odor.

The one case of clostridium we had -- that ferret had bloody mucousy stools.
