Yesterday my three new girls got their second round of shots. They are all
blessedly healthy. I asked the vet whether vitamin supplements are helpful. He
seemed to think it was optional. While in the waiting area I spoke with a
man who runs a rescue and he said he gives all his ferrets Pet-tinic liquid
vitamin supplement every day. So, as I was leaving I asked the vet assistant and
they sold me a bottle of it. My one girl who doesn't like ferretone or any
treats liked it a lot. My question to more experienced vet owners - is it
recommended to start kits on a lifetime routine of vitamin supplementation when
they are healthy, and if so, is Pet-tinic a good one? Any downsides to it?
