That is a synthetic pyrethrin as I recall. With pyrethrin as with so many other things DOSE (i.e. AMOUNT) is what matters.

If you look in the FHL Archives you will find compounds recommmended by vets as safe and effective, what parasites they work on, and how to use them.

Then you could look up those compounds. If that variation is present in the ingredients then it is safe in the right dose. Pyrethrins in doses which are too high are poisonous, though, so go with the approaches the vets recommend and don't deviate. BTW, there are parasite approaches sold in pet stores which are way too strong for ferrets.

Even water can be fatal in amounts too large but is essential for life in the right amounts... Dose matters.
