Do not use store things; many are too strong for ferrets. Dose can make all the difference between effective while safe, and unsafe.
There are a number of excellent posts on treating ear mites in the FHL Archives. Here is one:

Remember that if there is a secondary fungal infection then that also will need treating.
There is no substitute for veterianry care.
If you are tapped out see about having a bill, about trading some labor for care (acceptance of that varies from vet to vet and area to area), or one of the otehr solutions discussed in the past in both the FML and FHL.
It's best to try to as well as possible match the need for care (animal number, animal ages, animal types, animal conditions, etc.) to what can be provided (time, space, supplies, money saved for vet care, etc.) to provide the best life possible. Of course, at times in every life things (like jobs, financial drains, abilities of the humans, handicaps, etc.) do change situations dramatically without warning, so discussions of what to do when the finances can't cover the need or how to make other adjustments arise periodically in many ferret lists with possible solutions -- some tried by other list members -- offered.
Again, there is no substitute for veterinary care.
