I'm going to insist as much as I can, but I've a bad feeling about how they may react.
They may do some inisting on their own. Most of what I tried to talk to them about
the other night only met with responses laced with sarcasm from the senior vet. So
I don't know if that will work, but I'm sure going to do my best.

But oddly, he is really doing much better today (knock on wood!!!!).

This may sound stupid, but how would you go about 'insisting' on meds? They
aren't at all interested in treating with the antibiotics any more than they have, so I
don't know what to do about that. Any suggestions how I can approach them about
this without sounding like an idiot?

Ella,
If the carafate is alleviating the discomfort for Boo-Boo while he eats then I would
definately keep him on it.
