With all of this discussion about carafate, I think I remember Dr. Williams=
posting to this list that you can give it prior to every meal, not just 2-=
3 times a day. In fact, I believe he recommended it. If you don't give it=
prior to each feeding, you're allowing the irritation to occur, causing a=
longer healing time, in my opinion. Give it 10-15 minutes before feeding;=
no longer or the benefits will be gone.
Give other meds at least 30 minutes - 1 hr. before or after the carafate.
