We certainly have had ferrets who have had it as often as 4 times/day.

BTW, for those who don't know, there is a liquid prep (actually introduced as a pediatric med) which is much easier to give than the tablet in water. Also, the tablets break up faster if they are not crushed. They are designed to have capilaries in the tablet so puting a tab in water and waiting about 5 minutes causes it to bloom and by-passes the usual clay-type tendency to slough off water. Go with the liquid prep, though. Most ferrets accept it quite readily and it works great. Plus, it's not really expensive at the level that they use it and if you get some from a recent enough bottle the expiration time is a long one.
