I'm sorry to butt in like this, but when you mentioned paw pads or ears being red I
thought about Boo-Boo. The last few days I've seen his paw pads and ears and skin
from the shoulders up go red at times. This is mostly evident when I'm feeding him
because I spend a good deal of time just 'looking' at him while he eats. I thought
maybe it was a 'flush' of sorts due to eating the warm (not hot) soup/chicken gravy.
But now that you mention this in a context of allergic reaction I think of my
youngest son who had a similar reaction to an antibiotic after getting it too close
together too many times for chronic ear infections.

Could this be happening to Boo-Boo since he's been on the antibiotics (amoxycillin
type) for a couple of weeks? He also had a round of it a month prior as well when
they thought he had a virus (losing weight and not eating.. which was most likely
the beginning of the other problems he's been dxd with now).

A couple things to consider. One is to look at his skin- is it dry or flaky? Red or any
rash? Paw pads get red or ears- like an allergic reaction to something?
