Sorry for being late on responding to this one.

Our vet in North Carolina used trasederm (sp?) with
ivermectin in the form of ear drops and it works very
well indeed. This is prescription only as far as I
know. I agree with Sukie wholeheartedly: there is no
substitute for qualified veterinary care. Work out
payments with your vet if you have to.

One other point: all the ferrets in your home need to
be treated even if they all don't seem to have mites
at this poin. If you don't do this you probably won't
get rid of all the mites and will be back to square
one.
