I truly appreciate all your information; you're not confusing me, but helping quite a bit. The vet last time showed us and had us feel the glands themselves below the fat pads, so they were enlarged. She pushed the gland where we could feel it and it felt like a marble.
As for the diabetes I'm going to bring that up today for sure, and I'm trying to buy a diabetic kit from ebay, though I don't know if I'll win that bid or not. So in other words, we're trying to prepare for that situation. With his BS at 346 that's pretty high, but I'm going to ask that they test again today anyway.
And I'm also agreeing with the vet at this point in that Boo-Boo IS getting fat. I made more chicken gravy yesterday, but we didn't have any A/D food to put in it.. so it's more watery than the last batch. Do you guys think that I can keep the chicken gravy "as is" in its runnier consistency, forego the A/D food and just give him Pet Tinic each day? They didn't want me to give him PT last week until they learned the test results, etc. But he IS getting pretty darn fat now.

I have to agree with Patty. I'd have his blood glucose checked again just to confirm, and definately have a urine glucose, and urine specific gravity test done as well. You might want to ask for a copy of the results to keep on file.
