I have noticed in the shelter that if a ferret actively exhibiting adrenal
gland disease (especially jills vs hobs)comes into the shelter that this can
trigger symptoms in other ferrets that may have been "incubating" (for want of a
better word) adrenals without showing any symptoms. It usually seems to take
about 2-3 weeks but the first sign is often just the increased odor of the
other ferrets. It often results in scheduling multiple surgeries. HTH, Wolfy...
