I have a ferret the smells kind of like urine...I would describe it more as a musty smell though. Anyways, he doesn't appear to have any symptoms of adrenal at all. Can ferts get this smell even if they don't have adrenal?? I have another adrenal fert who doesn't smell at all really. I guess I am just getting paranoid now...
