Hi all,
The smell that adrenal ferrets acquire is indeed very
similar to an intact ferret that is in heat; because it is
caused by the same hormones. It is a very musky
odor (eau de weasel) and not really an urine like smell.
Both males and females can have this smell, but not all
adrenal ferrets will have a noticeable increase in odor.
