Hi Caterina,
I will second Dr Sue's suggestion. No pre anesthetics
are needed. One can simply mask ferrets down with
Sevo or Iso then keep them on Sevo or Iso for the surgery.
One of the problems with using pre meds before surgery is a
prolong recovery, which can lead to hypothermia and other
problems. In addition you do not want to use atropine or glyco
with Sevo; because they can cause heart rhythm problems.
