I'm just curious about something. If you think your ferret is coughing and sneezing because you smoke in the house, why do you continue? She could be allergic to the smoke or have asthma. Also, all the ferrets in your house are at risk for developing any of the diseases associated with humans that smoke. What's worse, they're breathing in the second hand smoke. UGH!

I'm not "bashing" a smoker here. I'm a smoker myself, and have been for many years. But I NEVER smoke in my apartment and neither does anyone that comes here. I figure there's no need for the ferrets to suffer because of my weakness. I hope this is something you'll consider doing for the sake of your ferret's health. It saddens me greatly to hear your ferret is suffering because of something YOU can control - cigarette smoke. So many people here scramble and pull their hair out trying to help or save their ferrets from things that CAN'T be controlled.....
